In a fiery speech delivered in Asansol, West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee launched a scathing attack on the central government, accusing it of misusing national security agencies in the state. Mamata's remarks came amidst growing tensions between the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the upcoming elections.

Addressing the crowd, Mamata criticized the frequent deployment of agencies like the National Security Guard (NSG) in Bengal. She exclaimed, "If even a chocolate bomb explodes in Bengal, CBI, NIA, NSG are sent here. It seems as if there is a war going on here."

Further indicating towards a political foul play, she asserts the bomb might have been planted.

"The state police is not informed. No one knows where they recovered the bomb from - perhaps it was brought from their own car and there is no evidence to show it was a bomb."

Early today, TMC has filed a complaint to the polls panel alleging a BJP-CBI-NSG conspiracy in yesterday's Sandeshkhali raid.
